Visit of the CISM Honorary President & Ambassador Major-General (Ret) Dr. Gianni Gola

BRUSSELS (BEL) – On June 1 and 2, the CISM Secretary General, Colonel Dorah Mamby Koita, and his staff had the pleasure to welcome the CISM Honorary President & Ambassador Major-General Dr. Gianni Gola for a two days working visit.

Major-General Gola, a true CISM legend, was the CISM President from 1998 to 2010 and has played an active role in the development of the International Military Sports Council.

During those fruitful meetings, each department gave to the Major-General Gola a brief overview of the related CISM activities. As a CISM Ambassador, he also delivered to the CISM HQ precious advices throughout the discussion!
