40th WMC Parachuting - Kubinka (RUS) – Update – Day 1

 

 

KUBINKA (RUS) – Yesterday, July 19, the 40th WMC Parachuting officially started in Kubinka, Russia, with the Opening Ceremony, a Press Conference and the first day of competition. Several high authorities attended this Opening Ceremony: General of the Army in reserve Nicolay PANCOV, Deputy Minister of Defence of the Russian Federation and Chairman of the OC of this WMC, Colonel General Vladimir SHAMANOV, Commander-in-Chief of the Russian Airborne Troops and Colonel Dorah Mamby Koita, CISM Secretary General.

 

 

Numerous national Medias attended the Press Conference.

The athletes of the 29 countries present in Russia will compete from July 19 to July 28.

 

 

 

The competition started with the team accuracy male competition. Belarus started quite well, taking the lead ahead Germany, Hungary, United Arab Emirates, France and Russia.
