40th WMC Parachuting - Kubinka (RUS) – Update – Day 2 & 3

 

 

 

KUBINKA (RUS) – On July 21, due to the bad weather conditions, the main event of the day was more about culture than sports: the Chiefs of Delegations had the opportunity to visit the city of Moscow and the Kremlin.

 

 

The competitions resumed on July 22 with the three following events: individual accuracy female, individual accuracy junior female and team accuracy female.

And it was a good day for China and Russia: after 2 jumps, Lt. Liu Siwei took the lead took the lead in the individual accuracy female event, followed by WO. N. Nikitsiuk (BLR) and WO. O. Zavariugina (RUS).

 

 

In the invidual accuracy junior female, STD. Kaixuan Wang (CHN) performed two very good jumps to take the first place; PVT D. Shastakovich (BLR) and PVT. A. Shkilenko (RUS) are completing the provisional podium.

In the team accuracy female event, after two jumps, Russia (7) got ahead of China (9) and Belarus (13).
