74th CISM General Assembly and Congress – Ho Chi Minh City (VIE) - Board of Directors Meeting
HO CHI MINH CITY (VIE) – The 74th CISM General Assembly and Congress started today with the first Board of Directors Meeting in presence the CISM President Colonel Hervé Piccirillo, the CISM Secretary General Colonel Dorah Mamby Koita and the Board of Directors Members in attendance in the Tan Son Nhat Hotel in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
The first session of the BoD meeting started with the Communication of the CISM President Colonel Hervé Piccirillo, followed by the Report of the Secretary General Colonel Dorah Mamby Koita.
The following topics were also covered during this very productive meeting: The Financial Report by the Treasurer General Colonel (B.A.M.) Walter Van Velthoven and the CISM Finances and Budget Commission inputs, by Major General Frances Allen ; the CISM Regulations Commission report by Colonel Steven Rosso ; the situation of the MoU with the International Federations by the CISM President Colonel Hervé Piccirillo ; the Strategic and Business Plan Report by Colonel Dirk Schwede, CISM VP Europe, and Lieutenant-Colonel Jan van den Dool, CISM Planning and Development Director ; the CISM Sports Policy with the CISM Sports Commissions Report by Lieutenant-Colonel Walter Borghino and the report of the CISM Sports Director, Colonel Luiz Fernando Medeiros Nóbrega ; the situation report of the 3rd CISM World Cadet Games by Chief Warrant Officer Christophe Horta, World Cadet Games Project Manager ; the CISM Sports Science & CISM Academy Report by Lieutenant-Colonel Rafael Pinheiro, ACISM Manager ; the Women in CISM Commission Report by Major General Frances Allen ; and the future CISM Institutional Events by CISM CEO Mr. Olivier Verhelle.
The CISM delegates will have a very busy schedule today, April 24, with the PCSC Meeting, the Commissions Meeting, the Press Conference, the Opening Ceremony and the Opening Cocktail.
