CISM Day Run for Peace 2018 - Camp Marmal, Afghanistan

CAMP MARMAL (AFG) - On 18 February 2018, on the 70th anniversary of the founding of the CISM, the CISM Day Run for Peace took place under German leadership at Camp Marmal in Mazar-e-Sharif, Afghanistan.

Captain R. Westrich (DEU) as organizer led for the first time a CISM Day Run for Peace at the base, with 84 participants from 8 nations: Armenia, Georgia, Hungary, Latvia, Mongolia, Netherlands, USA and Germany. All together running and celebrating this special day for CISM. Many thanks to the soldiers in action for this joint event!
