73rd CISM General Assembly and Congress – Punta Cana (DOM) - Board of Directors Meeting
PUNTA CANA (DOM) – In the framework of the 73rd CISM General Assembly and Congress that will be held in the Palladium Hotel Group of Punta Cana (DOM) from 16 to 23 April 2018, the Board of Directors Meeting took place yesterday in presence of the CISM Acting President Colonel Dirk Schwede, the CISM Secretary General Colonel Dorah Mamby Koita and the Board of Directors Members in attendance.
The first session of the BoD meeting started with the Communication of the CISM Acting President Colonel Dirk Schwede, followed by the Report of the Secretary General Colonel Dorah Mamby Koita.
Following these two presentations, the Treasurer General Colonel (B.A.M.) Walter Van Velthoven took the floor to present his report about the Finances while Brigadier General Frances Allen gave her input on the work achieved by the CISM Finances and Budget Commission. Colonel Steven Rosso also presented the report of the CISM Regulations Commission.
It was then the turn of the CISM Sports Committee President Lieutenant-Colonel Walter Borghino to present his report. The CISM Sports Director Colonel Carlos Eduardo then gave an overview of the Sports Department situation. Brigadier-General Frances Allen then took once again the floor for her report on the Women in CISM Commission.
The CISM Acting President Colonel Dirk Schwede ended the meeting by congratulating the two BoD Members from Europe Colonel Ioan Armanu from Romania and Lieutenant-Colonel A.F. Vermeulen for their work within CISM as it was their last meeting as BoD Member. Thank you for your support!
The PCSC Meeting will take place today, April 17, and will be followed by the Opening Ceremony in the evening.
