42nd WMC Parachuting – Szolnok (HUN) - Day 5

SZOLNOK (HUN) – Due to the bad weather conditions, only a few jumps were achieved yesterday afternoon in the following events: Individual Style Female, Individual Style Junior Female, Individual Accuracy Male and Individual Accuracy Junior Male.

In individual accuracy male, OR-7 Stefan Wiesner (GER) and LT Tinabo Gao (CHN) are still the solid leaders of the events with five perfect jumps while OR-2 Peter Balta (SLO) is now ranked third together with five other jumpers with only three jumps left. LT Tinabo Gao is also the leader of the individual accuracy junior event ahead of CPL Sebastian Graser (AUT) and CDT Zhang Zuolei (CHN).

In female style, BRI Léocadie Ollivier de Pury (FRA) took the lead of the event ahead of the two Russian LT Elena Tusheva and WO Olga Kravchenko with only on jump left. The battle for the gold medal promises to be intense as there is a gap of only 0,45 points between the three jumpers.

In individual style junior, SLD Mariia Elkina (RUS) is still leading the competition and is on her way to the gold medal with a 1,07 lead ahead of CDT Kaixuan Wang (CHN) while CDT Mei Yang (CHN) is currently ranked third.
