Cancellation of the 24th WMC Taekwondo in Dominican Republic

BRUSSELS (BEL) - It is with sadness that the CISM HQ has to announce the cancellation of the 24th World Military Taekwondo Championship that was initially scheduled in Santo Domingo (Dominican Republic) from 24 October to 31 October 2017.

It is with a heavy heart that the local authorities had to take this decision. Indeed, following the disaster of Hurricane Irma, the Armed Forces of Dominican Republic received the orders to suspend all official activities to focus on the relief and reconstruction efforts.

Our hearts go out the inhabitants of the country and we wish them courage in those difficult times!
