2,454 Athletes already settled in the Athletes’ Village of the 7th CWG

WUHAN (CHN) - As of 17:00 of Oct.15, 2,454 athletes, coaches and team officials representing 53 CISM countries and regions have moved into and settled in the Athletes’ Village of the 7th CISM Military World Games (7th CWG) to be held in Wuhan, China.

More than 2000 athletes are expected to arrive on October 16. In total, around 10,000 athletes, coaches, team officials and supporting staffers will attend the 7th CWG from October 18 to 27 to make them the largest ever CISM Military World Games.

Over 100 countries and regions have registered to compete with their athletes in the 7th CWG which will feature 25 competition and two demonstration sports with 329 gold medals at stake.

Some countries already arrived in Wuhan during the last two days including Algeria, Armenia, Barbados, Belgium, Brazil, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Guyana, Morocco, Norway, Oman, Ukraine, United States and the host country China.
