The CISM World-Level Sports Course (WLSC) is the second educational program offered through the CISM College Platform (http://learn.cism.college). Developed as an online educational resource, the course provides CISM Member Nations with practical knowledge of the 25 sports that comprise the CISM World-Level Sports category.
Purpose
The WLSC aims to strengthen the knowledge and understanding of CISM World-Level Sports by providing comprehensive educational material for each discipline. The course offers valuable guidance for both participation in and organization of CISM sporting events.
Each sport lesson covers:
The history of the sport within CISM;
The main disciplines and competition categories;
A brief overview of the applicable regulations;
Key information for participating in CISM events;
Key considerations when organizing CISM sporting events;
The cooperation between the respective CISM Sport Committee and the Local Organizing Committee of a host nation
Learning Approach
Each sport is presented through two complementary components:
The Video – a video presentation with audio and subtitles
Additional Resources – supporting learning material and reference documents that complement the video presentation such as the CISM Sport Regulations and videos from previous CISM World Military Championships.
This flexible learning approach allows participants to explore each sport independently and revisit the content whenever needed.
