Cancellation of the 44th World Military Parachuting Championship

BRUSSELS (BEL) - Due to the international situation of force majeure regarding the transmission and contamination of coronavirus (Covid-19), CISM is very sorry to inform that the Austrian Delegation to CISM decided to cancel the 44th CISM World Military Parachuting Championship, to be held in Guessing, Austria, from June 16th to 25th.

As the Austrian Delegation didn’t find any other date to postpone the event in 2020, the next WMC Parachuting will take place in November 2021 in Doha, Qatar.

The Austrian delegation is already planning to host 45th WMPC in June 2022 in Guessing.
