Christian Deville: The slalom race in Sochi will be a real battle

SOCHI (RUS) - One of the leaders of the Italian national team in Alpine skiing at the 3rd CISM World Winter Games Christian Deville’s believes that Russian athlete Alexander Khoroshilov is the candidate to win the slalom race today.

According to the famous Italian athlete, the individual slalom will be a real battle.

“Russia has a great slalom team – admitted Christian Deville – It is very dangerous for us for the Italian team. It will be interesting to compete with Russian athletes. I know Alexander Khoroshilov very well, and we often communicate. He is one of the obvious candidates. Now he’s faster than me, but we’ll see who wins”.

Men will compete in slalom on February 25, women on February 26 in the Rosa Khutor Ski Resort.
