The Press Centre of the “Laura” Biathlon & Ski Complex starts working

SOCHI (RUS) - On February 23, a press center of the “Laura” Biathlon & Ski Complex will be arranged and equipped with all the necessary modern office equipment, worksites, and coffee break zones for more comfortable working of the media representatives.

Transportation of journalists from the “Laura” Biathlon & Ski Complex to the “Iceberg” Skating Palace and back again will be carried out every day. Moreover, the press center is accessible on foot. There are six cableways on the Psekhako ridge to help you to get from the lower level of the ski complex “Gazprom” to the “Laura” Biathlon & Ski Complex. Its average capacity is about 2000 person per hour.

The entire necessary infrastructure is located at the lower station of the “Laura” Biathlon & Ski Complex. These are shops, cafes, ticket offices, toilets, a covered multi-level parking, equipment rental and service of instructors, medical center.

This year, the Biathlon & Ski Complex “Laura” hosts the athletes of the 3rd CISM World Winter Games, that will be held from 22th to 28th of February. More than 600 of Russian and foreign media representatives will broadcast the Games. The organizing Committee of the Games has prepared multifunctional media centers for the journalists. One of these media centers is located in the Biathlon & Ski Complex “Laura” and is open from 8.00 until 22.00 every day. There is also a modern conference hall for 100 people.
