CISM takes advantage of the CISM Club Rio 2016 to sign MOU with FIVB and FEI!

RIO DE JANEIRO - Last 9 August, following an initiative by the President of the CISM Volley-ball Committee, Lt-Colonel José Pinheiro, the CISM President, Colonel Abdulhakeem AlShino, and the CISM SG, Colonel Dorah Mamby Koita, visited the FIVB (Fédération Internationale de Volley-ball) hospitality lounge on Copacabana to sign the first official MOU between the two organizations.

This MoU aims at harmonizing the technical cooperation between CISM, the CISM Member Nations and the FIVB to promote the development and sustainability of Volleyball and Beach Volleyball in the Military sports world. Our leaders were kindly welcomed by the President of FIVB and could enjoy Olympic moments of beach volley. 

Two days later, our leaders concretized the long term collaboration with FEI (Féderation Equestre Internationale) and the PCSC Equestrian, Colonel Max Andre Barbacini, through the signature of a MoU. As one of the main objective, this MoU aims to sustain the high level practice of Equestrian sports among CISM nations through concrete technical partnerships.
