SAMARKAND (UZB) - The 25th CISM World Military Triathlon Championship delivered four days of elite racing and true Friendship Through Sport, opening with packed streets and historic backdrops in Samarkand and closing on 20 August 2025 with France atop the overall standings and Switzerland triumphant in a pulsating mixed relay. CISM Secretary General Navy Captain Roberto Recchia attended as Official Representative, underscoring the event’s stature and CISM’s commitment to solidarity through sport.

The Russian Federation placed second in 7:55:23, and Uzbekistan celebrated a historic third on home soil with 8:18:14—a milestone performance that reflected both competitive progress and the energy of the host city.
