São Paulo confirmed as host city of the CISM International Symposium 2027

BRUSSELS (BEL) – The International Military Sports Council (CISM) is pleased to announce that São Paulo, Brazil, has been officially designated as the host city of the CISM International Symposium 2027.

The confirmation was communicated by the Brazilian Delegation to CISM as preparations continue for one of the Council’s major international academic and institutional events.

As one of the world’s leading international cities, São Paulo offers extensive infrastructure, strong international connectivity and significant accommodation capacity, providing an ideal environment to welcome participants and delegations from CISM member nations.

The CISM International Symposium brings together members of the CISM community, experts and stakeholders to exchange knowledge, share experiences and explore topics of relevance to military sport and the Armed Forces.

Brazil and CISM Headquarters will work closely with all relevant stakeholders in the coming months to ensure the successful planning and organisation of the event. Further details regarding the dates, venues, programme and logistical arrangements will be communicated as preparations progress.

The selection of São Paulo marks another important step towards the CISM International Symposium 2027 and continues Brazil’s strong commitment to the development and promotion of international military sport.
