WADA launches the latest edition of Athlete Corner for the global sporting community
BRUSSELS (BEL) - The International Military Sports Council (CISM) encourages all military athletes, coaches and support personnel to discover the latest edition of Athlete Corner, the official athlete newsletter published by the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA).
As a long-standing advocate of clean sport and fair competition, CISM fully supports initiatives that help athletes better understand their rights and responsibilities under the World Anti-Doping Program.
This third edition of Athlete Corner introduces several important developments, including:
- the upcoming transition from Athlete Central to the new Athlete Center application, designed to provide an improved athlete experience;
- the release of the 2027 Code Companion for Athletes, explaining the main changes to the 2027 World Anti-Doping Code;
- a new educational video explaining the basics of Therapeutic Use Exemptions (TUEs);
- updates from WADA's Athlete Council and regional anti-doping initiatives around the world.
CISM encourages all members of the military sports community to stay informed and take advantage of these educational resources. Promoting clean sport is a shared responsibility and remains one of the fundamental values of military sport.
