BUNSCHOTEN / SPAKENBURG (NED) - After the traditional Opening Ceremony held in presence of the CISM Official Representative Lieutenant-Colonel Jan Van den Dool, CISM Sports Director, the Chiefs of Mission and the local and international dignitaries, the 14th Military World Football Championship kicked off with a bang, featuring captivating matches and impressive performances from the participating teams. The teams competed fiercely to claim the coveted title in this prestigious international tournament.

 

Here is a summary of the results from the first days of the tournament:


DAY 1:


In Group A, the Netherlands crushed Ireland with a resounding score of 7-0. The Dutch dominated the match from start to finish, scoring multiple times to secure a resounding victory.

In Group B, France defeated Tanzania 2-0, while South Korea dealt a severe blow to Canada, winning the match 7-0. Both teams displayed their superiority on the field with an impressive performance.


In Group C, Cameroon secured a 2-0 victory against Belgium, while the United States triumphed over Germany with a final score of 3-1.

 

 

DAY 2:


In Group A, the Netherlands continued their winning streak by defeating Greece in a close match with a score of 1-0. The Dutch showed their determination and quality to secure a second consecutive victory.

In Group B, France faced strong resistance from South Korea but ultimately emerged victorious with a 2-1 score. Meanwhile, Tanzania surprised everyone by defeating Canada 2-1 in an exciting match.


In Group C, Cameroon confirmed their impressive form by convincingly defeating the United States 4-2. Additionally, Germany suffered a narrow 1-0 defeat against Belgium.

 


DAY 3:


In Group A, Ireland and Greece ended in a goalless draw, 0-0. Despite the efforts of both teams, they were unable to break the deadlock and shared the points.

 

In Group B, Canada suffered a heavy defeat against France, who won the match with an impressive scoreline of 7-0. France showcased their superiority on the field with a dominant performance.
In the same group, South Korea secured an important victory against Tanzania with a score of 2-0. The South Koreans displayed their tactical mastery and technical skills to secure their second consecutive win.

In Group C, Cameroon continued their winning streak by inflicting a 4-0 defeat on Germany. Cameroon impressed with their fluid gameplay and efficiency in front of the goal.


In the last match of the day, Belgium and the United States faced each other in an exciting duel. The Americans showcased their superiority by winning the match 4-0. Their collective play and efficiency in front of the goal made the difference.
