BIRMINGHAM (GBR) – Colonel Nilton Rolim, CISM President, and Navy Captain Roberto Recchia, CISM Secretary General, actively participated in the prestigious SportAccord 2024 event held in Birmingham from April 7 to 11. SportAccord, renowned as the paramount gathering for representatives of International Federations and stakeholders within the global sports community, marked its revival amidst challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic and geopolitical complexities.
During the event, Colonel Nilton Rolim and Navy Captain Roberto Recchia seized the opportunity to engage in numerous meetings with representatives of various International Federations.
SportAccord facilitated interactions with key stakeholders such as the International Olympic Committee, offering a platform for CISM to foster new alliances and projects within the sports industry. The meetings aimed at reinforcing partnerships, initiating new projects, and fostering dialogue for potential collaborations in the near future.
