Press Conference of the 58th World Military Cross-Country Championship

BEJA (POR) - The press conference of the 58th World Military Cross-Country Championship took place this Thursday, October 29, in the town hall of Beja, Portugal. The competition will take place from 10 to 14 October and will bring together more than 300 athletes from 34 CISM member nations. It is already one of the biggest attendance in terms of participation in a WMC in recent years.

Lieutenant Margherita Magnani, PCSC Track & Field; Dr. Vasco Hilário, Director General of Recursos da Defesa Nacional; Brig. Dr. Paulo Arsénio, President of the Câmara Municipal de Beja and Colonel José Contramestre, President of the Commission of Physical Education and Military Sport and Chief of Delegation of Portugal to CISM participated in this press conference in which all the Portuguese athletes of the cross-country team were presented.

The PCSC Track & Field Lieutenant Margherita Magnani also took advantage of her stay in Portugal to make a pre-visit to the course and a technical visit to the facilities of the armed forces base in Beja where the competition will take place.
