52ND WMC SWIMMING (OPEN WATER) CELEBRATES THRILLING 4X1250M RELAY IN Málaga

 

MÁLAGA (ESP) – The 52nd World Military Swimming (Open Water) Championship witnessed an exhilarating display of aquatic excellence as teams from around the globe competed fiercely in the 4x1250m relay event. Held in the picturesque coastal city of Malaga, Spain, the championship showcased exceptional talent and sportsmanship.

The results of the much-anticipated 4x1250m relay are as follows:

 

   1. France - Gold Medal - Time: 00:57:02.1

Team members: Océane Cassignol, Caroline Jouisse, David Audry, and Marc-Antoine Olivier

 

   2. Italy - Silver Medal - Time: 00:57:21.1

Team members: Arianna Brindi, Giulia Berton, Andrea Filadelli, and Dario Verani

 

   3. Brazil - Bronze Medal - Time: 00:57:52.3

Team members: Ana Marcela Cunha, Viviane Jungblut, Alexandre Alves Finco, and Bruce Hamson Cruz de Almeida

The competition was nothing short of thrilling, with teams pushing their limits in the challenging open water relay. The French team, comprising Océane Cassignol, Caroline Jouisse, David Audry, and Marc-Antoine Olivier, displayed exceptional teamwork and determination to clinch the gold medal with a remarkable time of 00:57:02.1.


Italy's team, led by Arianna Brindi, Giulia Berton, Andrea Filadelli, and Dario Verani, demonstrated remarkable swimming skills, securing the silver medal with a time of 00:57:21.1, closely followed by the Brazilian team, who claimed the bronze medal with a time of 00:57:52.3.

 

The event in Malaga not only celebrated the outstanding athletes but also highlighted the spirit of international camaraderie among the participants.
