MÁLAGA (ESP) – The 52nd World Military Swimming (Open Water) Championship in Málaga, Spain, opened with a magnificent ceremony, setting the stage for a thrilling competition. The Women's and Men's 5000m races featured an exciting and challenging course layout.
In the Women's 5000m race, Océane Cassignol (France) clinched gold, followed closely by her compatriot Caroline Jouisse and Brazil's Ana Marcela Cunha.
In the Men's 5000m race, Marc Antoine Olivier (France) emerged as the champion, with Dario Verani (Italy) and Audry David (France) securing the second and third positions.
The championship continued with the 4x1250m relay, where France's team secured the gold medal with exceptional teamwork. Italy earned the silver medal, and Brazil claimed the bronze.
